Shweta Gulati (born 29 May 1979) is an Indian television actress who has recently been part of Bollywood comedy flick, Detective Naani. As a television actress, Shweta has essayed a variety of contrasting roles, from a girl who lost her parents and was ill-treated by her aunts in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr to a spoilt, rich girl in Remix and to her negative role of Sonya in Amber Dhara. In 2008, she joined Dill Mill Gayye as a new intern and She's in love with Abhi(Amit Tandon). She also anchored Zara Nachke Dikha, a reality dance show, alongside DMG co-star Karan Singh Grover. She currently hosts Dekh India Dekh, the sixth season of Comedy Circus, on SET India. Apart from television, Shweta has also acted in two plays and her recent foray in theatre is Aastha where she portrayed the lead role. She has recently played the role of Neeti Tipnis in the Romilla Mukherjee's bollywood flick, Detective Naani acting alongside Ava Mukherjee, Ankur Nayyar and Amit Verma.
