The episode covers Freddy's trial and subsequent release due to a legal technicality, and the parents of Springwood taking the law into their own hands to execute Freddy. The episode is mainly about how Freddy takes revenge on the police captain who killed him. It is interesting to note that in this episode Freddy is killed by fire in a different way than seen in other movie versions. Gasoline is poured on him and lit afire killing him.
The episode concludes with Freddy killing the officer who burned him, with dental equipment in a nightmare.
