Would Be Dragon Slayer is the fourteenth serial in the United States children's television series My Little Pony. Spike is harassed by a young boy trying to become a knight. The Ponies help him to find a good deed that doesn't involve slaying their friend. The Earth Pony Jumping Finals are interrupted when Spike charges across the field, pursued by a young boy riding a camel and armed with a sword. After the Pegasus Ponies incapacitate the camel and Megan disarms the boy, he introduces himself as Squire Alonzo and explains that he must slay Spike as a good deed. The Little Ponies don't agree that Spike is evil, and he apologises, saying that his greatest dream is to become a knight, but his efforts to do good deeds always end in disaster. Spike decides to help Alonzo in his quest, and Megan, Gingerbread, Masquerade and Galaxy join them in search of a knightly deed. Their search brings them to a castle surrounded by briars. Galaxy lights the way while Alonzo hacks his way through.
