"My Day at the Races" is the 96th episode of the American situation comedy Scrubs. It was originally broadcast as Episode 3 of Season 5 on January 10, 2006. J.D. struggles with an apartment search and turning 30 as he realizes he has accomplished none of the goals he had hoped to accomplish by this age. Some of J.D.'s goals include: Get married, buy a house, learn difference between Senator and Congressman, sleep naked on a hammock, learn another language, invent a cereal, and complete a triathlon. Determined to meet one goal before the exact minute he turns 30, he enters a triathlon. As J.D. struggles, he and Elliot bond and rebuild their friendship. With Elliot's support, he finishes before officially turning 30. Elliot is searching for a roommate to split her rent because, unbeknownst to Turk and J.D., Elliot has lost her fellowship.
