While Red and Bob take the boys deer hunting, Kitty and Midge have a blast staying home and having a juicy gossip session and high-stakes poker game with the girls. Red announces its deer season and Kitty urges him to go hunting because he hasn't done it in awhile since the accident. Red brings up the money problem, but Kitty tells him she'll pack food and Eric tells him he could ask to use the Pinciottis' cabin. Red then announces that it'll just be us guys and after calling Bob, Bob comes along too. On the drive there Kelso gets his gun taken away because he tells them he'll shoot a deer while they're driving if he sees one. A deer walks right outside the cabin and Kelso goes into the car to find his gun, but the deer gets away by the time he finds it.
