The University "Centroamericana" (Spanish: Universidad Centroamericna, UCA) is a university located in Managua, Nicaragua. It was founded in 1960.

As of 2007, the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Communication Sciences were merged into the Faculty of Humanities and Communication. This decision responded to criticism on the old Faculty of Communication Sciences having only one major. Therefore, the Social Communication major was incorporated to the body of programs in the Faculty of Humanities and a new dean was appointed -Dr. Julio Cￃﾩsar Sosa, s.j.
