Punkabilly is a subculture and music genre that mixes punk rock and rockabilly. There is some crossover with the psychobilly genre, but unlike psychobilly, which features lyrical references and images related to horror movies, punkabilly does not have any required subject matter. The word punkabilly is sometimes used as a generic term to describe any music that combines rockabilly with punk rock. Punkabilly fans often look very similar to rockabillies, greasers, Teddy Boy or rockers. The clothing is largely reflective of styles worn by rockabilly musicians and fans; slack, pastel-colored and Daddy-O shirts, baggy coats with shirt collars worn over the coat collar, brothel creeper shoes in various colors (black and white being the most popular), Levi's jeans (501 or 505), T-shirts and rocker jacket.
