While the roles of adult Kwok Jing and Wong Yung were played by different actors (Leung Ka Yan and Auyeung Pui San, respectively) in the 1983 TVB adaptation Return of the Condor Heroes, many actors reprised their roles, most notably: Lau Daan as Hong Qigong, Kong Ai as Ke Zhen'e, Wong Chun as Zhou Botong, Chak Lam Yeung as Ouyang Feng, Kenneth Tsang as Huang Yaoshi, and Shih Kien as Qiu Qianren.
