Meat Loaf was furious when he heard this and settled after they recorded "Who Is the Leader of the People?", which was, as Meat Loaf states, a very good song.
The band disbanded when the record company cut their vocals to "Who Is the Leader of the People?" and replaced them with Edwin Starr's vocals instead. This was the last straw. Soon, Meat Loaf would spawn unforgettable albums and Stoney would join the band Little Feat. Meat Loaf sang "What You See Is What You Get" live on his Live Around the World album in 1996.
