Aletheuo is a band formed in July of 2006 in North Carolina. Aletheuo is a Christian band, and they uphold Christian morals in their music and at their performances. ￎﾱￎﾻￎﾷￎﾸￎﾵￏﾅￏﾉￎﾽ -> alhqeuwn -> aletheuoAletheuo (al-ayth-yoo'o) is a word taken from Koine Greek and transliterated into English that means "To Speak or Profess The Truth." Aletheuo was officially formed in July of 2006, but Nick, Stephen, Ryan, and Ben had previously played together. Ryan has played bass since 2002, though he has not taken many lessons. Nick has taken 5 years of fingerstyle guitar lessons, and 1 year of classical. Stephen has played guitar, bass, and drums (as well as sung) in the past. He began in the band playing drums until March of 2007, when he switched to guitar, and is now back on drums as of July of 2007. He is also in a high school choir class. Ben had taken mandolin lessons for about 1.5 years, and sings in the same choir class. Richard Trotter joined Aletheuo in March of 2007, and has departed as of July of 2007. Aletheuo has a strong influence from Modern Hard Rock and Metal. Due to the varying musical tastes of band members, they also experiment with elements from Progressive,
