Loverboy was the hit debut album released by the rock band Loverboy in 1980. The album was originally refused by the United States Columbia Records, but after its huge success when Columbia Records Canada produced it, they decided to sign a deal.
The album was a slow seller in the States at first, but eventually became a huge hit: it went Gold in May 1981 and is currently at Double Platinum (2 million copies) in US sales.
