Bleed the Sky is an American groove metal band formed in Mission Viejo, CA in 2003. The band is currently signed to Nuclear Blast.
The band formed in December 2002, consisting of Vocalist Noah Robinson, guitarists Kyle Moorman and Wayne Miller, bassist David "Tank" Garcia, and drummer Austin D'Amond. After being a band for only two months, Bleed the Sky played their first show as an opener for progressive death metal band Opeth. Shortly after, they independently recorded and released a demo EP, recorded at Cleveland's Spider Sudios with Engineer Ben Schigel and Producer Thom Hazaert, who had earlier managed Chimaira. The EP caught the attention of Emerica who was working on a compilation CD and thought Bleed the Sky would make a good addition. The EP also gained attention of locals as the band also started to headline and sellout local shows, and it caught the attention of Nuclear Blast Records.
