OpenCVS is a BSD-licensed, from-scratch re-implementation of the popular Concurrent Versioning System, developed as a part of the OpenBSD project.  It aims to be fully compatible with the existing GNU CVS implementation, but be more correct improving on security, functionality, and maintainability.  OpenCVS is principally developed by Jean-Francois Brousseau, Joris Vink, Niall O'Higgins and Xavier Santolaria.
