Dignity is the third studio album by American singer Hilary Duff, released on April 3, 2007 in the United States. Duff co-wrote the majority of the tracks with Kara DioGuardi, who co-produced the album with Chico Bennett, Richard Vission, Vada Nobles and others. In contrast to the pop rock sensibility of Duff's previous work, Dignity features mainly a dance-pop- and electropop-influenced sounds, along with some elements of more classic sounding pop music, old school hip-hop, and R&B.; It reached the top five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and the RIAA certified it gold for shipments to U.S. retailers of 500,000 units. The three singles on the album—"Play with Fire", "With Love" and "Stranger"—reached the top forty on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, the latter two peaking at number one.
