Gwen and Jack trick it into leaving its host and captures it within a portable cell, where it peters out, itself turning to dust.
Gwen Cooper's date with her boyfriend Rhys Williams on the eve of her new job at Torchwood is interrupted when a meteor streaks over Cardiff and lands outside the city, and she is called into action.
