The SNES version is a 2D platformer/beat-'em-up. The player starts each level unmorphed, defeating waves of Putties until the player reaches the halfway point, at which point the character morphs, fighting through the remainder of the level that way until reaching the boss. The player can also use a special attack while morphed. The final two levels are Megazord battles. The player can replay the Megazord battles with 2 players by entering certain passwords.
