Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp is the 23rd episode of the television anthology Faerie Tale Theatre. Aladdin is a cunning street urchin who lives with his widowed mother in a Middle Eastern kingdom. He is approached by a Moroccan Magician who claims to be a friend of his late father, and has a business proposal. Although Aladdin doesn't believe the Magician's story, he goes along with his suggested plan.
They go deep into the desert until they reach a spot where he magically opens an underground cave. The Magician gives Aladdin a ring, saying to rub it if he needs help, and tells him to enter the cave...
