Doom is the first EP by then deathcore band Job for a Cowboy, released November 2005 through the King of the Monsters label. Allmusic reviewer Cosmo Lee stated: "Doom is competent, but trades in sounds, not songs, and is ultimately forgettable." Lee ended the review referring to the fact, that JFAC has changed its musical style with Genesis, which is a purist death metal-sound oriented album, stating: "Almost overnight, hordes of MySpace copycats sprang up, even lifting the band's logo font.
