"Suspicion" is the 82 episode of the drama television series NCIS. When a Marine Lieutenant of Kuwaiti descent is murdered in a hotel room in a small town, NCIS is called in to investigate. However, the local Sheriff's department already cleaned up the crime scene and an autopsy was performed. Involved in this case are an Iraqi who was relocated to the US for providing intelligence and some locals. The informant later returns to his house, only to be shot at and wounded by a trigger-happy deputy. The team later uncovers evidence that the deputy had framed the informant out of racial bias, but he was not responsible for the murder. They eventually figure out that the Lieutenant had been investigating her commanding officer, who had taken bribes from a pair of Iraqi teenagers in return for relocating to the United States.
