Serart is the self-titled, first, and to date, only album by the band Serart. It is the first release on Tankian's own label, Serjical Strike Records. The music of the self-titled album is not easy to categorize; indeed one could argue that the tracks are a fusion of many different beats, rhythms and riffs varying from rock to several types of traditional and folk music from many different countries. The track "Cinema" starts with a tabla rhythm followed by a fast drum and bass beat, but suddenly switches to the sound of a rock song using distorted guitar and a typical rock drum kit. "Love is the Peace" starts off with the sounds of guns being fired and explosions, realistically portraying the sounds of war, followed by Arto Tunçboyacıyan's Armenian folk chant.
A promo CD of the album was made.
Serart Sampler is a promo sampler CD released by the band's label to promote their self-titled debut album.
