Veronica Napoles is a Cuban-American author, architect, artist, award-winning designer, and teacher,
Born in Spanish Harlem, she began her higher education at the University of Miami in graduating with a degree in fine art. She then graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in architecture. Veronica began her design career as a project director for Walter Landor and Associates before running her own highly successful design firm for twenty years. She has taught design at both the University of California and Sonoma State University as well as conducting branding workshops nationally and internationally.
Veronica's book Corporate Identity Design, published by John Wiley is considered the one the more valuable resources for branding and marketing students. Her screenplay, The Initiate, was accepted as a Sundance Institute semi-finalist in 1992.
She has received numerous national and international design awards for excellence in design and print communications, including: Creativity, New York Art Directors Club, American Corporate Identity, Print Casebook, and Print Regional Design Annual.
