In 2006, Jones recorded an album with singer, Inara George, called George is Jones. The album was due for release in the autumn of 2006, however, the project is currently on hiatus and has yet to be released. Jones notes that a release of the album is "doubtful" due to "too many problems surrounding it." Four songs can be heard, however, on the duo's MySpace.
2006 also saw Jones collaborate with Idlewild bandmate Roddy Woomble, for Woomble's solo album, My Secret is My Silence.
