"The Crossing" is an episode of Ghost Whisperer.
Six year old Kenny Dale (played by Joseph Castanon) is killed in a train accident when the family car stalls in the path of an approaching train. Unaware that he has died and unable to find his parents he befriends a young boy whose mother believes Kenny to be nothing more than an imaginary friend. Melinda is introduced to the pair when she chases them away in time to avoid an oncoming train. Jim's mother pays the couple a visit and, confused by Melinda's odd behaviour, assumes she is pregnant. With Kenny's help, Melinda and her husband Jim, prevent Mr. Dale from shooting the man who sold them the car and whom he blames for Kenny's death. Melinda is eventually able to reunite mother and son for one last reconciliation before Kenny's spirit must pass on.
The Crossing is a reference to a railway crossing. Kenny the main ghost in this episode was killed by a train at a railway crossing.
