When entering the main entrance of Golden State from Sunshine Plaza, one arrives in Condor Flats. It is based on the Mojave Desert during the aviation days of the early to mid 20th century. The attraction in Condor Flats is Soarin' Over California.
Another sub-land, Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, is home to the Grizzly River Run. Across from the Grizzly River Run is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which provides an idea of the Mount Shasta wilderness. The attraction also includes a few Brother Bear scenes. When leaving the Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, one can find a talking trash can "PUSH" near the border of the Bay Area during selected times, usually weekends during the day (prior to 6 PM).
The Bay Area path is modeled after 20th century San Francisco, with models of Victorian houses lining the path.
