A widower holds vigil at the funeral home after his wife dies of natural causes and requests an inexpensive funeral. Ruth gets back into the dating scene when she is hit on by both Nikolai and Hiram. At first, Ruth is confronted by Hiram after church services however she tells him that she needs more time. Eventually, the funeral home's regular florist Nikolai charms Ruth and suggests that they have sex. Ruth then slaps Nikolai and turns back to Hiram. Claire becomes acquainted with Brenda's brother Billy and the two begin to hang out together on a regular basis. This takes a drastic turn when Claire sees Billy when he is and when he is not on his meds. Nate goes on a quest to find out about unpaid funerals and discovers Nathaniel...
