The Connection is the soundtrack to the 1959 play of the same name. It was originally planned for the music to be improvised by jazz musicians who would also play small roles in the production. Freddie Redd however persuaded Gelber to include his original score. All songs written by Freddie Redd Recordings that accompanied the various stage productions of the play.
