A group of alienated teenagers, including "Seattle Korps" aka Darryl Cotton (Kristian Ayre), vent their frustrations in an online white supremacy chat room. Later that day, William Cotton (Andrew Wheeler), Darryl's father and a charismatic speaker, preaches tolerance to a packed auditorium at Faith Heritage. Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall), Bruce (John L. Adams) and Reverend Purdy (David Ogden Stiers) are observing from the back of the room when Johnny spots his former flame, TV reporter Dana Bright (Kristen Dalton), who is covering the event. Josh Blake (Jesse Moss), the cynical young editor of Faith Heritage's student newspaper, scoffs at the message but as Cotton finishes his speech, the crowd surges toward him, taking Johnny and Josh with it. Suddenly, Johnny is hit with a vision of himself as a murder...
