Dr Shahrar Ali has served the Institute since its foundation as the Philosophy Programme in 1995. He did his PhD in philosophy at UCL on the topic of lying and deception in public life. Shahrar is active in the Society for Applied Philosophy and has undertaken research in the European Parliament.
