Sacred Warrior was a Christian classic metal band formed in 1988 and based in Chicago, Illinois. Their music is often campared to that of Queensrÿche or Iron Maiden. The band was formed out of a general market metal band known as Nomad. Subsequent to the conversion of vocalist Bruce Swift to Christianity, he lead fellow band members Tony Velasquez and Rey Parra.
