David Madden

David Madden is an American novelist, poet, author of literary criticism, and playwright. Born in 1933 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Madden is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. Since the 1970s he has been a professor at Louisiana State University where he has served as writer in residence and director of the creative writng program.
