Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave is a Shoot the Chute-style ride located in the Amity Cove area of Thorpe Park. It is claimed to be the 'wettest ride in England'. It was opened in 2000 and was Tussauds' first major investment in the park. It is believed however, that the decision to install the ride was made prior to the Tussauds take-over, and that the original theming was intended to center around pirates, as opposed to the current New England fishing village theme.... more
