Fran mistakenly thinks her boyfriend is dating someone else behind her back. Manny receives an Espresso machine and a DVD of The Sweeney for his birthday, and due to the ensuing unfortunate combination of interest in the police force and alertness, is mistaken for a policeman.
Gerald: You remember Jim, don't you?
Bernard: I'm not sure... What do you do?
Gerald: No, he's our son.
Bernard: Oh, thank God! I thought you had a disease! It's a child!
Gerald: Look at Jim!
Bernard: What? He looks surprised. All children look surprised. Everything's new to them!
