Christian joined BV Capital in March 2003 to focus on Internet
Consumer and Communications Software investments. He has significant
experience working on projects in the wireless and IP networking
arenas, having advised both enterprises and carriers on large-scale
deployments. Today, he spends most of his time in the firm’s European
office in Hamburg while still traveling to Silicon Valley on a regular
basis.
Prior to BV Capital, he was a member of the Technology Strategy
group at Detecon International, the Telecommunications consulting
subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom and a technology consultant at Siticom
Telecoms Consulting in Paris. Christian also held various positions at
the Daimler Chrysler Research Center India in Bangalore and the
Coordinated Science Laboratory at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign.
Christian holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he specialized in innovative methods to optimize bandwidth allocation for communications networks.
