Vicki is a seasoned software marketing executive with more than 17
years experience. She has helped several companies acquire, define,
launch and build new and profitable product lines and establish known
brands in key markets such as financial services. Prior to NorthStar,
Vicki was the Vice President of Marketing at Saba Software, where she
helped the company grow revenues from $34 million to $100 million (run
rate) through acquisitions and global marketing initiatives. Prior to
Saba, Vicki was a marketing executive at PeopleSoft, where she led a
major marketing initiative called the Total Ownership Experience™,
which increased revenue significantly and is still used by Oracle today
as a main differentiation for all PeopleSoft product lines. Prior to
PeopleSoft, Vicki founded a marketing consulting business, which
enabled Intuit to sell vertical editions of QuickBooks to specific
small business industry sectors. Previously, Vicki managed the Java™
product line at Sun Microsystems, where she received the President's
Award for best contribution to the overall company. Vicki started her
software marketing career at Oracle Corporation, where she was
instrumental in launching the Oracle*Industries initiative. Vicki
received her MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of
Sciences degree from Georgetown University.
