Jerry Kelly is 3Com’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). He holds an engineering degree with more than 20 years of experience in building efficient, global information technology (IT) systems. Jerry is responsible for the implementation and management of 3Com’s strategic IT plan and ensuring its alignment with the company’s business model.
Prior to joining 3Com, Jerry’s most recent position was a partner with Westside Advisors, a provider of technology and business consultants for private equity firms. Before working with Westside Advisors, he was Senior Vice President, CIO for ModusLink (formerly ModusMedia), a global IT services provider in the supply chain and hosted infrastructure environment, whose customers include many of the world’s leading technology and communication companies. While at Modus, he was responsible for global IT operations, infrastructure, end-user computing and business applications.
Jerry was also CIO at Globalware Solutions and spent several years at Compaq Computer/Digital Equipment Corporation in senior engineering positions in the United States and Europe.
