Co-founder and first
employee of Securify, Geoffrey Cooper manages the company's network
monitoring and tools development team. Mr. Cooper began working in
Internet transport protocols in the early 1980's at MIT and he
developed the first TCP-IP networked laser printer at IMAGEN
(subsequently acquired by QMS, Inc). He has since gained more than 18
years of experience in several areas of computer engineering including
Internet protocols, embedded systems, graphics, and image compression.
Prior to joining Securify, he led the project teams that developed
network appliances for a Silicon Valley startup. Mr. Cooper received
his Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from
MIT.
