As Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Customer Services,
Charles Nelson brings more than 20 years of services and solutions
selling experience to Kodiak Networks. He is an accomplished executive
who was most recently President and CEO of Velocita Wireless, a leading
provider of data products and services for enterprises and government
organizations. Velocita was previously the Cingular Interactive
business unit which was sold to affiliates of Cerberus Capital
Management.
Career Highlights- Oversaw
unprecedented growth in Cingular Interactive’s wireless data business,
with network subscribers and revenues doubling on an annual basis over
a five-year period.
- Developed, launched and
executed a number of highly successful sales and marketing campaigns
around industry vertical solutions including Cingular Messaging
applications and the extremely popular BlackBerry wireless e-mail
product.
- Other sales experience includes
management positions at Software AG, Falcon Microsystems and Xerox in
the Document Systems and Printing Systems divisions.
Charles holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated in 1979.
