92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red. Black raspberry and redcurrant aromas, with hints of woodsmoke, graphite and succulent herbs. Tangy and sharply focused, with bright red berry flavors, zesty mineral notes and fine, dusty tannins. Really energetic on the finish (the pH here is just 3.2, says Peterson), which is penetrating and very long. I'd bet on this improving in a cool cellar." (May/June 07)
