Critical response to the album has been generally poor. With Kerrang giving it only 1 star out of 5 and NME gave the album a 4/10, along with a scathing review.
The album was officially released in the UK March 30, 2009. It contains 2 exclusive UK bonus tracks including a brand new track "After The Fall". The first UK single was "Shake It" which was released a week before, on March 23, 2009.
