"Oedipus Hex" is the fifth episode in the third season of the American crime drama CSI: NY. The episode first aired on October 11, 2006. Eighteen-year-old Carensa Sanders, a Suicide Girl, is found dead after a performance. There were several head wounds indicating that "Omen", Carensa's stage name, had been blugeoned to death with a sharp, blunt object. Danny concludes, after some experimenting, that the murder weapon was a high heel spiked boot that all the girls in the performing troupe wore that night. Danny and Lindsay have to face a distraught, grieving mother and eight other suspected Suicide Girls to sift through. The body of street basketball player Alonzo "The Chopper" Tevis is found in Rucker Park. Mac and Stella find glass and brass wire remnants in Tevis' body and a head wound which killed him.
