In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames investigate the deaths of five young adults who parked their car on railroad tracks and waited for a fatal crash.
During the investigation, Goren and Eames first write them all off as suicides, but further evidence leads them to realize that one of the victims tried to escape the vehicle, meaning that he could have been set up to be killed alongside the members of a suicide club. Although initially they begin looking into a website that gives instructions on how to commit suicide, their investigation leads them to the unsolved suicide of a woman, one of the innocent victim's co-workers, against whom he had once testified in a harassment suit.
