2004 Carol Shelton "Monga Zin, Lopez Vineyard" Cucamonga Valley Zinfandel

The Monga Zin® is named both for its immense (humongous) mouthful of flavors and for its southern California region of origin, Cucamonga Valley, home to many of California's oldest Zinfandel vineyards. Ripe red berry-wild cherry fruit, vanilla-caramel oak, fragrant Asian spices—Chinese 5-spice, white pepper and saffron. Very smooth and nicely structured, long creamy finish. more
