2005 Shenendoah Vineyards "Special Reserve" Amador County Zinfandel

This wine is a rich example of the "Amador" zinfandel style. The aromas are reminiscent of ripe blackberries, cherries, and cocoa. The wine is full bodied and only moderately tannic with beautiful structure and strong fruit. The flavors are rich and complex, and the finish is long.
