Eastwood has re-cut only one scene that Cox has put together in 30 years. He edited the 2008 films Changeling and Gran Torino with Gary D. Roach.
Cox won the 1992 Academy Award for Film Editing for Unforgiven. He has been elected as a member of the American Cinema Editors.
