Internet Superstar was a daily video podcast produced by Revision3, hosted by Martin Sargent. The first episode was aired on January 30, 2008. Originally it was a weekly show, with a show about 30 minutes long being released each Wednesday, and a much shorter show 'Lil' Internet Superstar' being released daily. From August 4, 2008, the show had a daily episodes about 10 minutes long. As of October 27th 2008, Internet Superstar was canceled, as part of major layoffs at Revision 3. The podcast was hosted by Sargent alongside co-host Bruce "The Gator" Sanchez, a "drifter-type" from Florida that Sargent ostensibly met at a Los Angeles bar, played by Jay Speiden. On August 3rd 2008, Jay Speiden started co-hosting Internet Superstar as himself. This follows an episode in which his alter-ego is killed in a car accident. After announcing the death of "Gator", Martin is visited by "Gator's" city-cousin Jay who agrees to sit in on future episodes. The podcast was produced in the format of a talk show with Sargent and Gator interviewing interesting people out of garden shed in Sargent's parents backyard.
