The first episode received an average audience of 6.2 million viewers, a 26.5% share. and episode two dropped 1.4m viewers, drawing 4.8m, a 21.3% share of the audience. The last episode in the series managed 3.3m (13.3% share), competing against the start of a new run of Waking the Dead on BBC One which achieved double the share of that time slot.
A second series consisting of six episodes was ordered due to high ratings, which launched to just under 4 million viewers in September 2009.
