James Thornton (born 31 October 1975) is an English actor.
Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, he starred in the BBC One police series Holby Blue and is currently in Emmerdale.
Thornton married actress Joanna Page in December 2003, and they currently live in Dulwich, South London.
