2004 Alesia "Sonatera Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Explosive and complex nose of ripe black fruit and savory herbs. The delicious entry offers bucketloads of sweet blackberry compote that lead to an extremely persistent finish with some subtle minerality. We feel this wine successfully combines seemingly disparate elements of hedonistic fruit, balance and complexity. It is delicious now but can be cellared for a few years.
