The episode opens up with a politician, Jonathan Daniels, being chased down the road in the middle of the night, and then being raped. When patrolling the streets, Carlos Nieto and Grace Foster find him walking, evidently confused. They take him to the hospital after he denies wanting medical attention. Cruz then shows up, and after talking to him, discovers the fact that he had been raped. The man feels completely defenseless, and plus, he was opening a campaign for self-defense, and now says he can't even defend himself.
Cruz investigates and realizes that Jonathan's credit card had been stolen, and she is able to catch the thief. Jonathan is unable to identify his rapist and Cruz is forced to let him go. She later gets a phone call, from the politician, who is stalking his rapist and plans on killing...
