Zoë was Daphne Lawrence’s exuberant friend from childhood, but the two hadn’t spoken in years when Zoë suddenly arrived in Erinsborough. She started chatting up Shane Ramsay, Mike Young and, later Jim Robinson. When Zoë learnt that Daphne was getting married to Des Clarke she convinced them to let her move in until after the wedding. Zoë’s silly and mischievous behavior lead to her annoying both Max Ramsay, Paul Robinson and Clive Gibbons. Daphne reluctantly gave her a trial at the Coffee Shop, but lost the job after buying too much champagne for an office party. Zoë later temped at the Daniels Corporation until Sue Wright was promised the job application, but Sue was not good enough and Zoë got the job on a permanent basis.
